Tuesday morning

Hey ya'll! I'm the one from our team who got to get up early for the Thai Bible study, so I didn't stay up last night to write a post. But I guess you can hear from everyone else what kind of day we had. The cool thing about all we've done- even the elephant riding and crazy zoo- have been in pursuit of contacts the local church already has with seekers, spending time around them and patronizing their places of work. So yes, it's fun, but not without purpose!
The team I was with last night passed out most of our stuff to "bar girls", ie: prostitutes. Pattaya (the city where we are) is best known for the sex industry, and this city is a haven for sexual tourists. It's heart wrenching to see these young girls and guys out on the streets, and even more disturbing to see the older men who are out soliciting them. Pray that our hearts and eyes will be protected as we try to be lights in a very dark place!!!
I'm not really sure what today will hold after the Bible study... I think I, Tiffany, and Doug will be hanging around our hotel and teaching ESL to some of the employees while the rest of our team goes out to a few other places for ESL classes. Ask God to use us in a mighty way today- whatever we do. Love & miss ya'll!!!
